Job- West Texas A&M Head Men’s Basketball Coach

 Job Description 	Responsibilities include the recruitment and development of players, practice and competition preparation, coaching, scheduling and supervision of program budget and assistant coaches, off-season conditioning program, public relations, fundraising and facility maintenance for program. Will report to the Director of Athletics. Sport will be assigned by the Director of Athletics.   Skills or Experience Needed 	Master's Degree required.  Experience coaching collegiate level is required. Experience recruiting college-bound student-athletes is required.  Ability to pass NCAA Recruiting Test annually is required.  Due to recruiting and overnight travel, applicants must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record; must obtain a State of Texas Vehicle Operator's license within 30 days of employment and must qualify to operate a vehicle under TAMUS guidelines. Ability to meet TAMUS approval. Due to recruiting travel and overnight stay, applicants must meet TAMUS guidelines to receive a State of Texas travel card.   Preferred Qualifications 	Other experience preferred:  Event management experience related to the program. Physical development of student-athletes, supervision of program budget, fundraising and public relations, and supervision of assistant coaching staff.  Knowledge of the Lone Star Conference and NCAA Division II.
