Lincoln University of Missouri, an NCAA Division II institution that competes in the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), invites applications for a full time 12month head men’s basketball coaching position. The successful candidate must stay current and compliant with all pertinent regulations and procedures of Lu, the MIAA and the NCAA.Responsibilities:

  • Included but not limited to the following:

Recruitment of qualified student-athletes, commitment to the student-athlete’s academic progress and degree completion, practice and game preparation, scheduling, budget management, rules compliance, staff supervision, public relations, summer camps, community service and scouting opponents. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, with Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must have four years of coaching experience, preferably at the four year degree granting institution. Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining a CPR/First aid certification and passing an employment back ground check.

Salary:

  • Commensurate with experience.
