Morehead State University invites applications for a position as Women’s Head Basketball Coach. Appointment will be fixed-term and renewable.
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will be responsible for the organization, direction, and administration of the women’s basketball program, including the implementation and maintenance of high standards of academic and athletic excellence. The incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with the rules, regulations, and policies of Morehead State University, the NCAA, and the Ohio Valley Conference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and coaching or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance issues concerning the administration of intercollegiate athletics.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and sign student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic success.
