Carbondale resident named Lackawanna College
head women’s basketball coach
“Lackawanna College announced that it has hired Joya Whittington as its head women’s basketball coach.
Whittington, of Carbondale, graduated from Carbondale Area High School and excelled in women’s basketball. She is a member of the school’s 1,000 point club and was a starter on the team that won a district championship and two conference titles.”
