Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach Job Description:

Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach. This is a full-time, 10-month reporting position that includes a generous benefits package. Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college of 1650 students, is a Division III member of the NCAA and is a founding member of the North Coast Athletic Conference. Kenyon offers twenty-two varsity sports, eleven for men and eleven for women. The college is located in the beautiful village of Gambier, 50 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. The Assistant Basketball Coach will be responsible for assisting with all phases of managing a successful basketball program. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, arranging travel, managing budgets, coaching, instructing, strength training and conditioning, tracking equipment, and developing alumni contacts. Teaching duties will be assigned by the Coordinator of Physical Education. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in collegiate coaching is required. Candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Would prefer the candidate to have experience recruiting student-athletes at the collegiate level and to have experience coaching post players.
