Head Women’s Basketball Coach Job Description:
The head coach of the women’s basketball team is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of the basketball program; including but not limited to day to day operations, budgeting and recruiting; college competing and coaching experience required. The head coach is fully knowledgeable of the sport of basketball and the ability to teach and motivate student-athletes to be successful academically and athletically. The head coach is required to abide by the rules, regulations established by Northern New Mexico College, the Association of Independent Institutions, and NAIA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred. Must have a minimum of 2 years of successful coaching experience at the college level coaching women’s basketball as an assistant or head coach, or 5 Years as a High School head coach. Proven recruiting ability is a must.
