Women’s Basketball Coach Job Description:

Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for the full-time position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Stevens is a member of the Empire 8, ECAC and NCAA Division III and offers 26 varsity sports (13 for men and 13 for women). Stevens is located in Hoboken, New Jersey; a historic small town that is just minutes away from Manhattan. The school has an enrollment of over 2,000 undergraduate students and is located on a park-like campus that overlooks the Hudson River.

Position (full-time): Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Responsibilities: Direct all facets of a highly competitive NCAA Division III program with a special emphasis on recruitment of appropriate student-athletes. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to practice and game preparation; budgeting; academic support; scheduling of practices and games; fundraising; supervision of assistant coach(es); and general welfare of student-athletes. A complete understanding of NCAA rules and regulations and adherence to these policies at all times is a necessity. A secondary responsibility will be assigned by the director of athletics. Regular day, evening and weekend hours are required.

Bachelors degree required; master’s preferred. Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred.
