Women’s Basketball Coach Job Description:

Responsibilities of the Coordinator of Women’s Basketball Operations include: RECRUITING ORGANIZER: – Manage recruiting database of potential recruits (including collecting updated academic information from high schools) – Create and send out recruiting mailers for targeted recruits – Plan and organize on-campus visits – Manage subscriptions of both online and offline recruiting services ALUMNI RELATIONS/FRIENDS GROUPS AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH: – Schedule and coordinate all Friends Events (i.e. Chalk Talks, Alumni Game, etc.) – Responsible for scheduling all player/coach appearances within the Princeton community and immediate surrounding areas – Responsible for scheduling & coordination of coaching/youth clinics VIDEO EXCHANGE: – Responsible for pre-season mail-outs to acquire video of future opponents – Oversee filming and video capture of all home and away games. – Coordinate film exchange program with opponents. TEAM TRAVEL: – Schedule/coordinate all bus and airline travel with business office – Schedule/coordinate all hotel bookings with business office – Coordinate reports and reconciliation of all travel expenses with business office MANAGERIAL PROGRAM/GENERAL ADMINISTRATION/CAMP DIRECTOR: – Serve as office manager of the basketball office. – Coordinate all administrative needs of the women’s basketball office – Other duties as assigned – Work with university conference office on camp registration/housing – Responsible for all equipment (i.e. balls, whistles, scoreboards, etc) – Coaches clinic organization – Must attend practices in order to video tape or serve as clock operator as needed. – Must travel with the team to away games and assist with game-day recruiting at home games. – Must adhere to Ivy League, ECAC and NCAA rules and regulations. – High level of basketball knowledge. – Excellent written and oral communications skills. – Necessary computer skills such as word processing and mail merging. – Must have good interpersonal skills. – Must be able to multi-task. – Must recognize the importance of recruiting to the success of the program. – Must be trusted with confidential material – Bachelor’s Degree
