Gar-Field names Jason Bell next boys’ basketball coach
“Gar-Field promoted assistant coach Jason Bell to be its new boys’ basketball head coach on Tuesday. A former Gar-Field standout in the early 1990s and assistant coach for the last 13 seasons, Bell replaces Andy Gray, who resigned in June after 20 years at the helm.
‘It’s always been a dream of mine to come back and coach at my alma mater and have the opportunity to give back,’ Bell said. ‘Being on the sidelines the last few years and literally growing up here as a kid and player under my dad makes it that much more special.’
